Villa Vrindavana is a meditation retreat center built on the rolling Tuscan hills of Chianti with a classic Italian garden. Seminars, conferences, vedic weddings, festivals, meetings and retreats are hosted in the historic sixteenth-century Villa’s premises, giving participants a unique and fulfilling experience.

About the work exchange & volunteering program

Many spiritually inclined people visit Villa Vrindavana year around to experience ashram life and practice yoga or meditation. The Villa is also a place for conferences, ceremonies, meetings and weddings, therefore there are plenty of things to do for volunteers such as:

• general maintencance,
• cleaning
• gardening
• helping with animals (chickens, cows)
• helping in the kitchen.

Volunteers are expected to help out for up to 5 hours 5 days a week or 4 hours 6 days a week. Minimum period they can stay is 2 weeks and maximum 2 months. Longer stay is possible for those who wish to experience ashram life on a deeper level.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation is shared gender-based dormitory. Three fresh vegetarian (and vegan) meals a day are offered free of charge for volunteers.

Honest, friendly and hardworking helpers in exchange for a beautiful and unique experience. Please, bear in mind that Villa Vrindavana is an alcohol, smoke and drug free retreat center.
