Permaculture, organic farming work exchange in Brazil

EcoviLab is situated half way in between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo right next to a picturesque small town called Cunha. Surrounded by rolling hills on all sides, its best feature is undoubtedly its jaw-dropping landscape. Another interesting thing about this region is its similarity to the American West. EcoviLab is a start-up permaculture farm with a rather small size land and a lot of enthusiasm to produce healthy food and educate people.

About the work exchange program

EcoVilab work exchangeVolunteers are needed year around to help with vegetable and fruit production, feed the chickens, and build structures such as chicken coops, benches, tables, and gardens.  Work exchangers will be asked to help around the house or in the garden 4-5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Work hours are flexible. There is a small daily fee to cover housing expenses ( 5 USD/day).

What’s in it for You?

  • You will stay in a dorm room with shared bathrooms. The room will be all yours for most of the  time, except on workshop days ,when the house is full.
  • Breakfast is provided, locally produced vegetables and fruits will be available for you.
