Work exchange program in the californian redwoods

Immerse yourself in a serene retreat environment nestled among towering redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and contribute meaningfully to a spiritual community dedicated to wisdom, compassion, and service. Vajrapāṇi Institute’s Work‑Exchange Program invites you to offer your skills and talents in exchange for housing, meals, and access to Dharma teachings. Working alongside fellow volunteers and staff, you’ll deepen your inner path through mindful work, peaceful practice, and collaborative living.

About the work exchange program

The Work‑Exchange Program at Vajrapāṇi Institute offers a unique opportunity to live and serve within a peaceful retreat center nestled in the majestic redwoods of Northern California. In this immersive experience, volunteers become part of a community rooted in Tibetan Buddhist values—compassion, wisdom, service, and simplicity.

Volunteers stay in rustic accommodations and enjoy nourishing vegetarian meals, access to Dharma teachings, and the chance to experience daily life in a spiritually conscious environment.
