About the work exchange program

Bposhtels offers an exciting work exchange initiative designed for travelers who want to explore popular destinations across the United States without paying for accommodation. Participants immerse themselves in vibrant city cultures while gaining hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. The main goal of this program is to foster genuine intercultural understanding and help staff elevate overall guest satisfaction ratings and online reviews. You will work alongside a diverse team of international travelers and staff members while living right in the heart of the city.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have fluent English communication skills.
• Able to commit to a minimum stay of one month with flexible start dates.
• Must provide a resume or CV, a valid WhatsApp number, social media profile links, and a copy of an ID.
• Willing to electronically sign the program terms upon application approval.
• Able to complete a virtual video meeting interview if the initial application is approved.

Your responsibilities

• Dedicate at least three hours a day to hostel assistance, mostly needed during key windows from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and during the evenings.
• Provide friendly customer service and handle brief front desk duties.
• Organize social activities and help guests connect with one another.
• Complete light housekeeping, room setups, and property inspections.
• Stay primarily in shared mixed dorms and maintain clear communication regarding days off and schedules.
