WEC Camps offers an unforgettable summer experience rooted in Bible teaching and global mission, welcoming young people from all backgrounds. It’s more than just a holiday — it’s a chance to explore faith, build friendships, and create lasting memories. With a strong Christian foundation and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, WEC Camps is currently seeking volunteers to join their Camp Set-up Team. While being a Christian is not required, volunteers should be willing to support the camp’s values and feel comfortable serving in a faith-based environment.
About the free volunteer program
In the last week of July 2025, WEC Camps will bring together a team of volunteers to help prepare one of two campsites located on open fields near the scenic North Wales coast. These camps provide young people from all backgrounds with a fun and potentially life-changing Christian experience. Volunteers are also welcome to assist with the pack-down phase, starting 11 August 2025.
Requirements
- Physically capable of assisting with practical setup tasks.
- A cooperative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Respect for WEC Camps’ Christian ethos and mission.
- Being a Christian is not required, but volunteers should be comfortable in a Christian environment (e.g., prayer, team devotions).
- Age 18+ preferred.
No prior experience necessary, though practical skills are a plus.
Your Responsibilities
- Erecting tents, marquees, and communal areas.
- Installing temporary electrical supply where needed.
- Assembling and plumbing kitchen and dishwashing stations.

- Gain hands-on experience in outdoor and team-based work.
- Connect with others in a positive, purpose-driven environment.
