Dominican Tree House Village is an eco-friendly haven nestled in the heart of the lush Samana jungle in the Dominican Republic. This unique village offers volunteers the opportunity to live in open-air treehouses connected by rope bridges and jungle paths, immersing themselves in the vibrant rhythms of nature. The village operates on sustainable practices, aiming to provide guests with an authentic and tranquil jungle experience.

The volunteer program is designed for individuals who are passionate about nature, sustainability, and community living. Your responsibilities

Volunteers are expected to work approximately 30 hours per week, assisting in roles such as:

• Yoga Instructors: Leading morning yoga sessions for guests, fostering relaxation and mindfulness.
• Bartenders: Preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Cleaners: Keeping the treehouses, common areas, and facilities clean and welcoming.
• Receptionists: Assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs, providing information, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
• General Helpers: Supporting various tasks around the village, including gardening, maintenance, and event assistance.

The work is designed to be engaging and community-oriented, allowing volunteers to connect with guests and fellow volunteers while contributing to the village’s operations.

Requirements

• Age: Must be over 18 years old.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; intermediate Spanish is advantageous.
• Commitment: A minimum stay of 4 weeks is required.
• Solo Applicants Only: The program does not accommodate couples or partners.
• Health: Volunteers should be in good physical health to perform various tasks.
