Mariri Jungle Lodge is a beautiful African-style eco lodge in the heart of Brazil. It is located a half-hour drive (13 km on rough bumpy road) from the town of Alto Paraíso, an esoteric town of mysticism, natural therapies and spiritual healing in the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park region in the heart of Brazil.

The lodge was lovingly built by its founder Marianne with the intention to preserve the land of this pristine area using eco-friendly and sustainable practices to create unique accommodation spaces, hold holistic retreats and an artist residency, all set within the ethics and spirit of permaculture.

This peaceful place is surrounded by beautiful raw nature, where you have a chance to observe monkeys, exotic birds, go hiking and connect with the spirit of the Cerrado (Brazilian Savannah biome) deeply rejuvenating your body-heart-spirit.

Volunteering

As a volunteer, there are a variety of things that you could help with such as: gardening, building , cleaning , preparing  food, animal care, promoting the place through social media and many more things that could be valuable to the project and will be agreed together.

In exchange for your work free accommodation is available. The lodge accepts people willing to commit for a minimum of 4 weeks stay and give preference to those wanting to stay 8 weeks or more so that the experience can in fact benefit both sides as anything shorter is not long enough for a positive integration of everything that can be exchanged during the stay.
