About the volunteer program

As a farm volunteer at Mt Jukes Eco Retreat, one can immerse themselves in the world of nature and permaculture while exploring the stunning Mackay/Whitsunday area. The Wwoofer farm volunteer program offers a unique experience that combines hands-on work in farming, gardening, house cleaning, kitchen duties, and general maintenance in exchange for quality food, comfortable amenities, and opportunities for learning and exploration in a beautiful setting.

Farm volunteers typically work 4.5 hours per day over 6 days each week. This schedule allows for a balance between productive work and enjoying your time.
