Bayahibe is a tropical paradise on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. With its pinch-me-I’m-dreaming sands and crystal-clear waters filled with coral reefs, it ticks off everything on your Caribbean wish list.  Bayahibe Village Inn is currently seeking a dedicated volunteer worker to join the team and contribute to the successful management of our establishment.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the hotel staff in various operational areas, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
  • Assist in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel, maintaining high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Aid in managing guest inquiries, check-ins, and check-outs, providing a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Support housekeeping efforts by supervising in room cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the hotel.
  • Contribute to the overall guest experience by engaging with visitors, offering recommendations for local attractions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a strong desire to contribute to the success of a hotel establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with
  • Flexibility and willingness guests and colleagues to work in different operational areas, adapting to the evolving needs of the hotel.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order in various areas of the hotel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, assisting colleagues and supporting shared goals.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
