Bellbunya is an eco retreat center for sustaining living on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Queensland Australia where you can learn organic cooking, permaculture organic gardening. The center is built in a magical location, next to stunning beaches and national parks of Noosa, the world-famous Eumundi markets and charming hinterland villages such as Kenilworth, Pomona, Eumundi and Cooroy.

About the work exchange & volunteering program

Program details

Experience the Sunshine Coast with locals, as part of a community, whilst building a more sustainable world. It’s a community that grows food together, works together on projects, eats together and shares resources and tasks.

Volunteer position requires a minimum 4 week commitment. There is a full time (30 hours or a part-time (18 hours) volunteer opportunity for those, who have any skills in

•  building,
• plumbing,
• electrical,
• house painting,
• carpentry,
• gardening,
• farming,
• permaculture.

Some jobs are organic gardening, building maintenance and renovation, lawn mowing. There is also cooking, cleaning and projects such as conference set ups, social media and website, administration.

Accommodation

Shared accommodation is available on site,  there are bunks for 3 males and 3 females. Other rooms may be available.Volunteers are asked to arrive on Tuesday afternoon for “induction” that day and then usually a further practical introduction on Wednesday morning.

Bellbunya is a drog and alcohol free place, please consider this before applying.
