About the free volunteer program

Requirements

• Minimum stay of two weeks; longer stays are especially welcome.
• Good command of English (knowledge of Dutch, German, or French is a plus).
• Independence, reliability, and appreciation for quiet, rural life.
• A practical mindset and willingness to take on varied tasks.
• Personal transport is useful, though transfers and shopping trips can be arranged.

Your tasks

Depending on the season, volunteers may:

• Cut and prepare firewood (January–April; chain saw experience is helpful).
• Assist with campsite setup and closure in spring and autumn (furniture, tents, cleaning).
• Help during camping season (mid-April to mid-October) with cleaning, pool and garden upkeep, and vegetable garden care.
• Support small maintenance projects, painting, or light construction work.
