About the work exchange program
Campbell Farm is a working farm and guest community located in the peaceful countryside of northern Alberta, Canada. The farm grows food, raises animals, and supports a small community of people who live and work together. Volunteers from around the world come to live on the farm for a period of time, share in daily work, and learn through hands-on experience. You will get to work alongside local hosts and other volunteers on real tasks that help keep the farm running. The pace of life is slow and grounded in nature, with plenty of fresh air and a chance to unplug from busy city life. Many people join to improve their English, learn more about farming and homestead life, and meet people from different places and cultures. You will be welcomed into community meals and daily routines, and your contribution will be part of how the farm thrives. It is a place for people who enjoy learning by doing, who are open to new experiences, and who are ready to be part of everyday life in a rural setting.
