Noosa Forest Retreat provides an affordable inspiring healthy participatory organic grass root community home nestled in the forested foothills of Mothar mountain in the Noosa hinterland. Inspired by the Vedic vision (simple living higher thinking) also offering increasing quantities of high vibration organic food and Holisitc health services (Ayurvedic consultations, massage, detox/rejuivination programs & Holistic Counselling/ Personal Transformation sessions).

Anyone who is interested in holisitic living, organic gardening, permaculture, or simply working with nature, are warmly welcome to join NFT’s work exchange programs.

The work exchange program volunteers put effort into weeding, mulching, planting garden veggies and trees, pruning, harvesting, looking after animals, food preserving, building, cleaning, some office work and the like. You are asked to work five hours a day, six days a week for free meals, accommodation, and holistic organic living. For those who are keen on having more free time can volunteer 1.5 hours a day in exchange for rent at half price.

Being at Noosa Forest Retreat offers a unique and very rewarding experience overall because you are exposed to permaculture and the cycles of nature through the work exchange. After garden time, refresh your body and mind by cooling off in the pond or rock pools, taking a bushwalk through the forest National Park, or hanging out on a cozy seat on our verandah. We can’t have a good community without good people, so you are encouraged to join in the fun and find out for yourself what Noosa Forest Retreat has to offer.
