About the free volunteer program

Located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador, the long term volunteering experience at Wisdom Forest offers a unique way to live and work close to nature. Volunteers become part of an intentional community focused on sustainability, personal growth, and conscious living. The project combines environmental care, community building, and simple jungle life. Days are structured but balanced, with meaningful work, shared meals, and time to connect with others.

You may take part in eco construction, gardening, reforestation, food preparation, or helping with daily operations. The environment is peaceful and remote, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and wildlife. Living in the jungle encourages teamwork, open communication, and a deeper connection with nature. Many volunteers describe the experience as both grounding and transformative.
