Join Synergia Ranch as a volunteer in New Mexico!

Located 30 minutes from the center of historic Santa Fe and 45 minutes drive from Albuquerque, Synergia Ranch is set on 111 acres of high desert prairie, dotted with pinon and juniper trees.
At an elevation of 6,250 ft. and with its many shade trees, Synergia Ranch is a veritable oasis in the desert. The ranch provides a haven for meditation groups, alternative practitioners, martial arts training, theater rehearsals, dance and painting workshops, conferences, meetings, business and scientific retreats.

Program details

Working hours vary by season, but usually crews work five hours a day, Monday through Friday plus 2 hours on the weekend (usually Saturday) in exchange for room and board.

You will get hands on experience helping with a variety of tasks from planting to weeding to harvesting and going to market.

Volunteers work alongside and learn from eco-researcher, author, and organic farmer Mark Nelson, and ecologist/publisher Deborah Parrish Snyder in the fruit orchard and vegetable gardens.
