Northwest Montana offers a wide range of spring, summer and fall activities. Located only 30 minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, 15 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort, 5 minutes from the Whitefish Trails, and a 10 minute walk to Whitefish Lake.

The hostel offers work trade opportunities for qualified individuals interested in spending a summer living and working in Whitefish, Montana. Work-trade employees are requested commit at least 4-6 weeks of their time to help out in the daily tasks of maintenance, cleaning, and hostel management. The gig includes a free bed on the nights not working and a daily allowance of $15-20 in the cafe as well as free minimal storage and use of a bike and kayak.
