Set in the rolling hills of central Israel, between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, this volunteer program gives participants the chance to experience life on an organic olive farm while learning about sustainable agriculture. The peaceful surroundings, olive groves, and close-knit community create the perfect environment to slow down, connect with the land, and gain new skills. More details are available for those who wish to take part.
About the free volunteer program
The Glenora Farm community is built around life-sharing, where adults with developmental disabilities live and work alongside volunteers and caregivers. Daily activities include helping on the farm, working in gardens, and supporting creative workshops such as arts, cooking, and music. Volunteers, often called coworkers, become part of the rhythm of community life, joining in household activities, shared meals, and seasonal celebrations. Placements are available for several months or for a longer stay, with room, board, and a modest monthly stipend provided.
