Party host & social media volunteer in the Philippines

Join a vibrant 55-bed social hostel in San Juan, Siquijor, just minutes from white sand beaches, waterfalls, and the island’s lively nightlife. We are looking for an outgoing volunteer to host beer pong tournaments, karaoke, trivia, and game nights while creating engaging photo and video content for Instagram and TikTok. You will help bring travelers together, keep the bar buzzing, and occasionally support reception or light daily tasks. Islanders Siquijor is a vibrant social hostel and bar located in San Juan on Siquijor Island, Philippines. Set in the heart of one of the island’s most popular beach areas, the hostel is surrounded by palm trees, white sand beaches, waterfalls, caves, and a growing nightlife scene. It is a 55-bed hostel designed to bring travelers together through shared experiences, music, games, and island adventures.

The team believes a hostel should be more than just a place to sleep. It is a space where strangers become friends, stories are shared over drinks, and every night feels like a celebration. As a new party hostel entering the Siquijor social scene, the goal is to create unforgettable events and a strong community vibe. Guests can join island tours, beer pong tournaments, karaoke nights, trivia competitions, live music sessions, and themed game nights. Volunteers play a key role in creating that energy and making sure every guest feels welcome and included.

Requirements

• Outgoing and confident personality.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and starting conversations.
• Experience or interest in event hosting and social activities.
• Basic photography and video skills for social media content.
• Reliable, proactive, and responsible attitude.
• Minimum stay of 4 weeks.
• Available around 5 hours per day, mostly evenings.
• Flexible starting date.

Your responsibilities

• Organize and host nightly events such as beer pong, karaoke, trivia, and game nights.
• Encourage guests to join activities and create a fun social atmosphere.
• Take high quality photos and videos for Instagram and TikTok.
• Help guests feel included and part of the community.
• Occasionally assist with reception tasks like check-ins.
• Support light cleaning and basic bar duties when needed.
