“The Donna Portals is looking for a work exchange with a personal trainer and/or a yoga instructor. We are a recently renovated 5* boutique hotel located on the seafront in Portals Nous.

As our hotel’s Personal Trainer, you will focus on providing an exceptional health and wellness experience for our guests. Not only do we want effective workouts, but you will help contribute to the personalised and luxurious service we are known for.

Main duties

• Programming of targeted classes such as functional training, yoga, pilates, aquagym…
• Create personalised training routines for clients who expressly request to improve muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular health.
• Set fitness goals and monitor your clients’ progress.
• Recommending dietary advice and plans to help clients eat healthy.
• Teaching clients how to correctly use the machines and equipment in the gym to complete their workout.
• Supervise the gym and fitness room, as well as the proper supply of water, towels and equipment.
• Attending to clients’ requests and advising them.
• Communicate any flaws and possible improvements to the gym area.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a trainer in hotels or luxury environments would be desirable.
• Training related to the position.
• Flexible working hours on request / part time availability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Service and customer focus.
• Discretion and professionalism.
• High level of English. German desirable.
