About the work exchange program

Morgado do Quintão is home to a dedicated team, led by Joaquim Imaginário, a passionate young viticulturist who provides guidance and training for work exchangers. The estate integrates animals into its regenerative agricultural system, promoting beneficial interactions between species and the soil.

A typical day at Morgado do Quintão offers a range of agricultural activities, depending on the season. Work exchangers will have the chance to participate in:

• vineyard care (pruning, harvesting, soil maintenance),
• seasonal planting and harvesting,
• animal care,
• composting, and soil improvement.

There are also opportunities to help prepare products for wine tourism and gastronomy events. The team enjoys sharing knowledge about regenerative agriculture, organic practices, and how to work in harmony with the natural conditions of the Algarve. Work exchangers will gain hands-on experience with techniques that blend innovation with tradition.

In addition to farming, Morgado do Quintão is a hub of creativity and well-being. The estate hosts cultural events, such as wine tastings, outdoor concerts, and gastronomic dinners. Work exchangers can explore the stunning Algarve beaches, hike the nearby Serra trails, or visit charming villages.
