The Dreaming is a peaceful retreat center in Wales that offers a transformative experience to slow down, unwind, and reconnect through sound healing, rewilding, crafts, ceremonies, stargazing, wild swimming, and more.
The retreat center also offers a work exchange program, where participants assist retreat coordinators with setting up spaces, guest interaction, maintaining guest areas, and helping in the kitchen. About the work exchange program
The Dreaming team is expanding, and they are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join them in various roles on the property or within their residence for short and long term (3 to 6 months) . As a work exchanger, you will join a community of people passionate about nature, connection, wellbeing, and sustainability.
Your responsibilities
As part of the retreat team, you will support the retreat coordinators in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the retreats. Your responsibilities will include setting up spaces for practitioners and offerings, interacting with guests, and maintaining guest areas, such as keeping tea/coffee stations stocked and preparing tables for meals.
The role also involves behind-the-scenes work in the commercial kitchen, including dishwashing and assisting the resident chef with meal preparation. A commitment of up to 30 hours of work per week is required, including administrative tasks with varying shift hours.
