Short and long term volunteering in New Zealand
Sacred Earth is a place where the beauty of the natural world can open us up to the hidden beauty of our inner being. Against the dramatic backdrop of Auckland’s west coast, Sacred Earth provides a rejuvenating environment for personal retreats, and a perfect setting for group workshops. Above all, they offer a welcome home to the world’s earth-based wisdom traditions.
If you enjoy meditation, tranquility, yoga, exploring rugged wilderness, swimming in the sea and crystal clear waterholes, and stunning views of the ocean, you will enjoy your stay at Karekare beach.
Contribute to an unfolding vision for a forest meditation retreat. Assist a small community with all aspects of the development and maintenance of the retreat, including bush trails, planting natives, herbs, veges and orchard, drying herbs, weeding, caring for the beautiful temple environment and creating sacred sites.
