Volunteer at the top surf and yoga stay in Sri Lanka

Surf & Soul is a laid-back surf and yoga retreat inspired by Soul & Surf – a company that brings a mindful, down-to-earth vibe to everything they do. It’s all about good waves, good people, and finding a bit of balance along the way, without taking things too seriously.

They’re currently looking for a volunteer to join the team in Sri Lanka. It’s a great chance to be part of a friendly, welcoming crew, help out with day-to-day tasks, and enjoy the surf, yoga, and sunshine in a beautiful location.

About the volunteer program

Soul & Surf Sri Lanka, the leading surf and yoga stay in the country since 2014, is looking for a Service Host (Volunteer) to join their team during July and August. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves surf and yoga culture, enjoys meeting new people, and wants to experience life in a meaningful hospitality setting. The volunteer will help create memorable experiences for guests during the quieter weeks of operation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or events is preferred.
• Friendly, proactive, and approachable personality.
• Able to take initiative and work independently.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and a good communicator.
• Fluent in English (Sinhala or Tamil is a bonus).
• Must be available for the full duration of July and August.

Your responsibilities

The volunteer’s main role is to host and support the day-to-day life of the retreat when guests are staying on-site. On slower days, they may also assist with light admin or behind-the-scenes tasks to keep things running smoothly.
