Homey Hostel is located in the heart of Taiwan’s capital, Taipei. It’s located right next to Ningxia night market and just ten minutes away from Taipei’s historic district. You can shop your heart out in the famous Zhongshan area nearby, or you can venture further out by taking the local MRT. The transportation hub of the city, Taipei Main Station, is just a short walk away, so getting around couldn’t be easier.

Homey Hostel is always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers with a good working attitude to do the following jobs:

Housekeeping

• treat this job as a REAL job and be responsible and active when you’re on shift.
• no language skill needed.
•  at least 2 weeks stay.
• working hours: 4hrs/day, 5 days/week.
• free stay in staff’s dorm
• free breakfast
• NTD80/week allowance to use washing machine, NTD60/week allowance to use dryer

Front Desk Assistant

If you like to interact with people, and want to sharpen your Chinese speaking skill, stay with us as a front desk staff might be a good choice.

• assist our staff to check-in and check-out
• answer guest’s questions
• maintain the clean of the environment.
• support housekeeping if needed
• fluent English/Chinese speaking is a must. Japanese/Korean speakers preferred.
• at least 1 month stay
• working hours: 4hrs/day, 5 days/week
• free stay in staff’s dorm
• free breakfast
• NTD80/week allowance to use washing machine, NTD60/week allowance to use dryer

Homey Lounge Keeper

If you like to make friends and have the ability to arrange events, “Homey Lounge Keeper” will be the best choice for you！

• keep Homey Lobby in active atmosphere
• arrange night events (Board games, cooking, table football competition……)
• make Homey traveler’s album (Stories with pictures)
• post the interesting things on Homey fans page
• be enthusiasm, responsible and active.
• basic Chinese and basic English are needed.
• at least 2 weeks.
• working hours: 4hrs/day, 5days/week, from 7 P.M. to 11 P.M.
• free breakfast
• NTD80/week allowance to use washing machine, NTD60/week allowance to use dryer
• holiday: 2days/week
