AdiNath Yoga Ashram is located in Tambon Nang Lae, Amphoe Mueang in Thailand. In less than 10km you can reach the magnificent waterfall up the hill, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in a cold and clear water. Along the way, you will also find the stunning views of the greens and experience the warm hospitality from the villagers.

About the volunteer program

Adinath Ashram Yoga iwelcomes volunteers year around, they are always in need for an extra pair of hands to help developing the retreat center. The ashram was built for future yoga teachers, as well as for those who are passionate about healthy living and enjoy spending time in nature. The yoga school consists of the main house with several rooms, a yoga hall, a huge kitchen perfect for family-style dinners, garden, and lots of green space around.

Be aware that it is not a party place, but a retreat center where anyone can slow down, rest, and find inner balance. They cannot offer you any yoga lessons in exchange for volunteering, but you may use the ashram when it’s not busy with classes.

Only vegetarian meals are provided, smoking and drinking alcohol is not allowed on the property.

A maximum of 4 volunteers can be hosted  in the retreat center.  2 to 3 vegetarian meals are served daily, but there are always snacks and fresh fruit available for you to enjoy. Drinking water is provided 24/7. The volunteer program is suitable for a couple or a small family as well. If you wish to explore the area, there are bikes available without any extra charge.

Additional Information

The area around Chiang Rai offers a lot for all those who wish to explore it, such as sightseeing, cultural or adventure attractions. The center is close to the Golden Triangle with Myanmar and Laos.

Please, bear in mind that you will visit an area where the climate is tropical. It gets hot most of the time of the year (sometimes even at night), but there are also some chilly nights, so consider that when packing up your clothes. Be respectful and wear discrete clothing on the property (and generally in Thailand).
