As part of its mission, the villa offers a free volunteer program—an invitation to live in community, connect with nature, and contribute to meaningful daily work in a truly unique setting.

About the free volunteer program

The volunteer program at Villa Vrindavana offers an immersive experience in a devotional and sustainable environment. Volunteers live and work alongside a diverse international community, taking part in a variety of projects that support the daily running of the villa and its natural surroundings.

It’s more than just a work exchange—it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, explore spiritual values, and become part of a living, breathing community dedicated to service, learning, and spiritual growth.

Requirements

Villa Vrindavana welcomes volunteers who are:

  • at least 18 years old,
  • physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks,
  • willing to follow the community guidelines, which include abstaining from meat, alcohol, drugs, smoking, and other intoxicants during their stay,
  • respectful of the spiritual atmosphere and open to experiencing a new way of life,
  • able to commit to a minimum stay of 2 weeks,
  • previous experience with community living or spiritual centers is not required—only a sincere attitude and a spirit of service.

Your tasks

  • Organic gardening and field work.
  • Helping in the kitchen or dining hall.
  • Cleaning and maintenance.
  • Assisting during festivals or events.
  • Working in the gośālā (cow protection center).
  • Supporting eco-sustainability and permaculture initiatives.
  • Participating in renovation or construction projects (seasonally).

Each volunteer is assigned based on their abilities and the needs of the community, with guidance and support provided along the way.

Volunteers contribute approximately 5 hours per day, 6 days a week.
