About the free volunteer, work exchange program

Join RisingSoul Retreat, a thriving international yoga community located in a serene Bulgarian forest and mountain valley. Through Karma Yoga, volunteers engage in a combination of meaningful work, creativity, and relaxation while making a selfless contribution to everyday life. Everyday yoga and meditation, outdoor dining, river days, forest hikes and evenings by the fire with guitars, traditional instruments, and clay oven pizza are all part of the summertime. Additionally, you will have the chance to visit historical sites, local cultural events, and Bulgaria’s breathtaking scenery.

Requirements

• Open-minded, friendly, and ready to be part of a supportive, family-like community.
• Willing to follow a plant-based diet during your stay.
• Minimum stay is 1 week, though longer stays are encouraged.
• Happy to participate in daily tasks, creative projects, and community life.

Your responsibilities

• Gardening, harvesting fruits and vegetables, and maintaining the grounds.
• Meal preparation, and shared community dining.
• Supporting yoga, meditation, and wellness programs.
• Assisting with creative projects and events.
• General retreat upkeep and helping guests feel welcome.
