Australia - work exchange in a permaculture farm

Zaytuna Farm, is one of the worlds leading permaculture demonstration sites.  The 66-acre farm has a range of functioning systems including; water harvesting, food production, and a very productive animal husbandry. In close proximity to some of the most visited places in New South Wales your days spent both on and off the farm are bound to be rememerable.

About the program

Zaytuna Farm is looking for flexible, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who have a positive attitude and are ready to dedicate some of their time to one of the worlds leading permaculture demonstration sites. Zaytuna Farm’s wide range of earthworks, its diversity of plant species, its mix of domestic livestock and native wild animals, all make for a stimulating and enjoyable stay, especially for those who relish life in beautiful and interesting surrounds.

At any one time, there can be up to ten apprentices on site, who develop and manage the various permaculture systems under the guidance and instruction of the Zaytuna Farm management team. In addition to this, Zaytuna Farm hosts various courses and events. At times there can be up to 50 students, staying for periods of around two weeks (sometimes longer) to study and or gain hands-on experience in permaculture. On the odd occasion, Zaytuna farm opens its gates for guest visits and tours. If you are ready a life-changing volunteer experience, click on this link for the online application!
