About the free volunteer program

The farm offers a 12-week volunteer placement from April to mid July and from mid July to October designed for individuals eager to immerse themselves in organic farming. Volunteers work alongside experienced farmers, gaining practical knowledge of sustainable growing techniques, crop management, and farm operations. In addition to fieldwork, participants attend weekly tuition sessions covering various aspects of organic agriculture. The program is ideal for those interested in sustainable food production, environmental conservation, or pursuing a career in organic farming.

Your tasks

• Sowing, planting, and harvesting vegetables.
• Maintaining crops through weeding and soil care.
• Assisting with packing and processing produce for distribution.
• Engaging in general farm upkeep and seasonal agricultural tasks.
• Participating in educational sessions to deepen their understanding of organic farming.

Requirements

• Aged 21 or older.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Enthusiastic about sustainable agriculture and organic food production.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a farm setting.
