About the work exchange program

Jungle Hub offers a transformative volunteer experience in the heart of Costa Rica’s lush rainforest. The program invites individuals to immerse themselves in sustainable living, spiritual growth, and community collaboration. Volunteers are asked to stay for a minimum of two weeks, contributing to various aspects of our eco-retreat while gaining hands-on experience in permaculture, art, and hospitality.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-week commitment.
• Open-minded and adaptable attitude.
• Willingness to engage in physical outdoor tasks.
• Interest in sustainable living and community-based projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Permaculture: Participate in water management, soil regeneration, path building, and garden maintenance.
• Art: Create a mural in the main kitchen and engage in other artistic projects.
• Kitchen: Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Guest Support: Help prepare rooms and assist during retreats (when scheduled).
• Additional Tasks: Contribute to maintenance, offer workshops, or engage in other activities that benefit the community.
