Solterreno lies in a peaceful countryside area of south-eastern Spain, where you can live close to nature. The various living spaces of the retreat offers all modern day comforts including; abundant hot water, electricity, modern shower and toilet block, swimming pool, WIFI. There are some outstandingly beautiful hiking trails nearby like, also the surrounding mountains are ideal for climbing.
About the volunteer program
Sollereno regularly have volunteers working on varius projects with some spanish language skills.
Your daily volunteer schedule would look like this:
- 8.00 meditate together
- 9.00 breakfast together
- 10-14 work period
- 14.00 lunch together (main meal in Spain)
- The rest of the day is free but might include yoga or reiki or some other activity.
The work is also flexible and negotiable, depending on you, from cooking to working in the garden, to help looking after the trees pruning etc. to basic maintenance like painting or oiling wood and a long list of other jobs.
Accommodation will be in one of the cabins but, when the retreat is full in the warmer months they might ask you to be in a tent with a mattress or a caravan.
Food and accommodation are porvided in exchange of your work. Volunteers are expected to stay for at least a month.
