Suzie’s Yard is based in the borderland triangle between Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio called the Trivium.  This area is stunningly rich in natural beauty and far, far away from the tourist traps and crowds. You can experience a truly authentic tuscan life in Cetona, where the farm is located.  History, culture, art, landscapes, good food and good wine in abundance, what else can you ask for?

About the program

Suzie’s Yard is a 12-hectare organic farm producing extra virgin olive oil, wine, wheat, flour, pasta, honey, herbs and herbal infusions for sale, plus vegetables for use at the farm eatery. It’s also a place where wellness programs and summer camps are held. There is even a special day every week, when local musicians visit the farm and play truly italian music.

The farm hosts volunteers from April to October.  Your tasks could include the following: olive planting, maintenance, harvesting, hoeing, preparing veg baskets. Volunteers are part of the host family, all dietary needs are welcome.
