Requirements

  • Open-minded and respectful attitude toward a diverse community.
  • Ability to commit to approximately 25 hours of work per week, usually five 5-hour days.
  • Willingness to live on-site in shared accommodations and adapt to a simple lifestyle.
  • Interest in participating in a mindful, service-oriented environment.
  • Minimum age requirement as specified by the center (usually 18+).
  • Commitment to stay at least one month, with the possibility to extend up to six months total.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the kitchen and dining room, including meal preparation and cleanup.
  • General cleaning and housekeeping throughout the center.
  • Groundskeeping, maintenance, and other support tasks.
  • Contribute positively to the community through teamwork and reliability.
  • Follow center guidelines and schedules while maintaining personal responsibility.
