About the free work exchange program

Caravan Hostel is always seeking motivated and driven individuals eager to help share and introduce the amazing city of Washington, D.C., to its guests. It provides a fun and unique environment where volunteers can meet travelers from all over the world while immersing themselves in the rich culture of the capital. By joining the work exchange program, participants agree to work a set number of hours each week in exchange for free onsite accommodation.

Requirements

• Commit to at least 8 weeks (2 month) minimum of your time.
• Volunteer 24 hours a week at the front desk.
• Be flexible with morning, evening and even overnight shifts.
• Comfortable with reception based tasks and light housekeeping tasks.
• Live onsite in a staff-only dorm room.
