Work stay in a classy Washington D.C. hostel

HighRoad Hostel is an upscale, designer hostel in the heart of Washington, DC. crafted from a vintage Victorian mansion. It’s situated in a legendary neighborhood called Adams Morgan where locals live and where D.C. comes to hang out.    There are over 100 restaurants in a few block radius of the hostel, three grocery stores, a pharmacy, a 24-hour-a-day american -style Diner.  In short, almost anything a traveler could need is out the front door.

The hostel is often looking for fun, dynamic, motivated and entrepreneurial people to join their amazing team as Resident Advisors at DC’s newest hostel and live onsite for free in exchange for working.

Requirements for Residental Advisors

•  Live on-site in an exclusive team dorm room
•  Commit to live onsite for 4 months at minimum.
• Work 24 hours per week. Our shifts are approx. 8 hours long.
• Be able to do at least two shifts per week overnight (11pm-7am) if needed.

Work exchangers will receive free accommodation in a dorm room exclusively for Resident Advisors only. (No other guests). The dorm room includes your own bed and storage space. Free breakfast is provided each morning as well.

Of course, you will receive training from the managers on how to do all your duties, plus follow up and constant contact with all of us so that you never feel confused about what to do or how to do anything.

This position is for anyone seeking a minimum stay of four months in exchange for working 24 hours per week including some overnights.

• Cleaning duties and making beds
• Helping with fun guest events
