Pedruxella Gran is one of the great “Posesiones’ in northern Mallorca. The estate is set amidst ancient olive trees and terraces with sweeping views across the mountains and to the Mediterranean. It is a grand place to relax, to reflect, to reconnect with friends and family or to hold an exclusive wedding, a retreat, or even a business meeting – all in an authentic and uniquely Mallorquin setting.
Pedruxella Gran hosted a successful volunteer program over the last 15 years. Over 200 volunteers have come from around the world. Volunteers work 6 hours a day for 5 days a week in exchange for accommodations, food, and the opportunity to learn about organic and traditional farming methods on a mountain farm. Work is varied – much of the work revolves around caring for the animals and gardens, pruning and harvesting olives and carobs from the terraces, repairing fencing and walls, and clearing and cleaning areas.
