Mystical Yoga Farm is a self-directed off-grid retreat center and spiritual living community located at Guatemala’s most beautiful natural wonder, Lake Atitlan. MYF is focused on self-sustainability and organic connection with the environment. Work trade positions are available year around for those who are interested in yoga, farming, or sustainable agriculture.
Work trade positions
General Manager (Beginning Mid March 2019)
Minimum Stay: 6 Months
Compensation: Accommodations, Food, Monthly stipend.
Requirements: Spanish speaking, YTT, Leadership experience
Spanish and English Teacher
Minimum Stay: 2 Months
Contribution: Daily Classes for local workers, and staff.
Requirements: Must be fluent in Spanish and English, teaching abilities
Permaculture Guru
Minimum Stay: 3 Months
Contribution to Farm: $5 USD a day for first 2 months
Requirements: Completed PDC, hands on experience
Kitchen assistant
Minimum Stay: 1 Month
Contribution to Farm: $5 USD a day for first 2 months
Requirements: Passion for Vegan food, able to work in a team.
Body worker (massage, reiki, etc.)
Minimum Stay: 1 Month
Contribution to Farm: $5 USD a day for first 2 months
Requirements: Certification
Social Media & Marketing
Minimum stay: 3 Months
Contribution to Farm: $5 USD a day for first 2 months
Requirements: Experience
Work traders receive free accommodation and 3 epic vegan daily meals for their contribution.
