Cost Rica work exchange

Alya Retreat Center offers a natural and serene location amidst the many travel highlights of Costa Rica. With 19 acres, Alya Retreat Center is tropical oasis in Guanacaste.

Alya Retreat currently accepting applications for those interested in staying at this unique and healing location in exchange for general labor, housekeeping, grounds keeping, cooking, and marketing.

Volunteers must have positive personalities and commitment to a minimum of two weeks. Use of the community kitchen is available to all volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for their own food and toiletries. Weekly trips to the market for groceries are provided. Daily yoga classes are provided. Accommodation options

  • In exchange for 30 hours a week of work, volunteers are entitled to free accommodations in a private casita (upon availability).
  • In exchange for 18 hours a week of work, volunteers are entitled to free accommodations in the dormitory.
  • In exchange for 10 hours a week of work, volunteers are entitled to free camping. Participants must bring their own camping supplies.
